Space Shuttle Discovery 10 AVDP oz Colorized Copper

$50.00

A 10 AVDP oz piece struck in .999 fine copper and cut to its own outline rather than a round. The front is the full shuttle stack climbing out on a plume of exhaust: the orbiter Discovery with the NASA meatball and the flag on her flank, the orange external tank behind her, a solid rocket booster to either side. The back turns the same rocket silhouette into a window on deep space — an astronaut waving from a dust-grey surface, Earth mirrored in the visor, Saturn and its ring overhead in a star field — with the weight and fineness struck into the ground beneath: "10 AVDP OUNCES .999 FINE COPPER".
