Privacy Policy
Effective August 25, 2026. This policy covers rpg007-coins.vercel.app and any order you place through it.
Short version: we ask for the minimum needed to hold a coin for you, we don’t sell your information to anyone, and we don’t add you to a mailing list because you bought something.
What we collect
When you send a request: your name, email address, and an optional phone number. We don’t ship, so we don’t ask for a mailing address. If you type anything into a request note, we keep that too. Sending a request doesn’t charge you anything.
When you ask for a back-in-stock alert: your email address and which piece you asked about.
If you join the drops list: your email address, the date you joined, whether you signed up from the site or at checkout, any categories you ticked (copper, silver, gold, Funko Pops, Hot Wheels, other), and — if you unsubscribe — the date you left. We keep that last one deliberately: it is how we make sure you aren’t added back by accident later.
Payment details: none at request time. The website does not collect or store bank credentials, card numbers, or account numbers. Any payment arrangements happen directly after an order is approved.
Your request list: stored in your own browser, not on our servers, so it survives a refresh. Clearing your browser data clears it.
Technical logs: our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Site analytics: Vercel Web Analytics records page and product views, approximate country, referrer, browser/device type, and actions such as adding a piece, starting checkout, submitting a request, or using a catalog filter. These analytics do not include your name, email, phone number, order number, or the words you type into search. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site profiling.
Why we use it
To confirm availability and set your piece aside; to email you an approval and pickup details; to answer you when you write to us; to keep records of sales as tax and business law require; and to protect against fraud and abuse.
We don’t email you marketing because you sent a request, and buying something never puts you on a list. A back-in-stock alert is sent once, for the piece you asked about, and then you’re done.
The one exception is the list you can join yourself: if you enter your address in the “Get the drops” box, or tick the box at checkout that asks whether we should email you when new pieces land, we do exactly that and nothing else. The checkout box is never ticked for you, and leaving it alone changes nothing about your order. Every list email carries a one-click unsubscribe that works without a login and takes effect immediately. We never add you to it for you.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make an order work, and only what each one needs: our email provider to deliver receipts, pickup details and any list email you asked for; Vercel to host the site and provide privacy-minded traffic analytics; and Neon, which hosts the private database that holds our order book and the drops list. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept while we may need them for tax, accounting, and warranty or dispute purposes — generally at least four years, since that’s what business record-keeping requires. Back-in-stock signups are deleted once the alert has been sent or the piece is retired. Drops-list addresses are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only the address and the date you left, so we don’t re-add you. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we have to keep it for a legal reason.
Your choices and rights
Email us at anthony@scripturestudios.com and we will, within 30 days: tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR — including the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We don’t sell or share your data in the first place, but the same email address handles any of those requests. You can also ask an authorized agent to make the request for you.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, our order book is a private document restricted to the owner, and the admin area is password-protected. No system is perfect — we don’t hold payment credentials specifically so that a breach here can’t reach your money.
Children
This shop is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we’ll remove it.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we’ll update the effective date above, and for anything significant we’ll say so on this page. Questions, requests, or complaints go to anthony@scripturestudios.com. We’re based in NJ, United States. We don’t ship — every piece is picked up locally, arranged separately once your request is confirmed.
